The Australia A squad has been confirmed to play Japan XV in Osaka on October 18, featuring a blend of capped Test players and new faces.
There are ten Wallabies in the 26-player squad, headlined by Western Force flyhalf Ben Donaldson and new Waratah Pete Samu.

Donaldson continues his return from injury after coming off the bench in all three British & Irish Lions games, with Samu recently joining the Bledisloe Cup squad as cover for Rob Valetini.
Reds trio Josh Canham, Seru Uru and Matt Faessler have also been included, with the likes of Matt Philip, Darcy Swain, Luke Reimer, Isaac Kailea and Hamish Stewart all pulling on the gold jersey before.
Former Sevens and Australia U20s star Sid Harvey headlines the new faces in the Australia A program set for their first taste of a national XV program.
Harvey was rewarded for strong form in the Super Rugby AUS competition as he helped the NSW Waratahs to the title, with fellow NSW teammates Ethan Dobbins, Joey Walton, Teddy Wilson and Dan Botha also included.
Fellow Australia U20s standouts Tevita Alatini and Lington Ieli also earn selection, with Ieli continuing a breakout season after starting for First Nations Pasifika.
Western Force duo Henry Robertson and Mac Grealy have been named, with Robertson emerging as the successor in waiting following Nic White's retirement.
The side will be led by their club coach Simon Cron, who will be supported by newly appointed Western Force assistant Brad Harris and Australia U20s coach Chris Whitaker.
“Following the success of the Super Rugby AUS competition, this match is another great opportunity for Australian players to test themselves against high-quality opposition," Cron said.
“To have ten Wallabies in the group shows the depth in Australian Rugby, while there’s some young men here who will be keen to challenge themselves for the first time on the international stage."
