Biography

Growing up a family of seven, including a twin brother with two New Zealand born parents, Fenella Hake spent her childhood years playing Rugby and touch football. ‘Nella’ is currently a personal trainer and a standout member of the Redlands Muddies women’s rugby team in Brisbane, known for her consistent kicking and ability to break the line.

2017

Hake was selected to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand.

2018

Off the back of a strong Super W season, as well as outstanding performances in the Wallaroo’s last campaign over in New Zealand, Hake is yet again going to don the gold jersey in the upcoming New Zealand series, and for the first time, wearing it on home soil.
