Growing up a family of seven, including a twin brother with two New Zealand born parents, Fenella Hake spent her childhood years playing rugby and touch football. ‘Nella’ is currently a personal trainer and a standout member of the Redlands Muddies women’s rugby team in Brisbane, known for her consistent kicking and ability to break the line.

Fenella Hake joins the Wallaroos squad after a strong showing at the 2017 Buildcorp Women’s Nationals, where she steered Queensland to third place by slotting five penalties in the third place playoff to overcome WA, 27-13.


Hake was selected to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand.
