Brumbies Women's coach Tony Doherty has named his side for the club's inaugural Buildcorp Super W clash against Queensland.

To be played as a curtain raiser for the Brumbies' clash with the Sharks at GIO Stadium, Doherty has named a side headlined by ACT legend Louise Burrows at hooker and New Zealand World Cup winner Charlene Gubb at lock.

Gubb will be supported by captain Shellie Milward at blindside flanker, with an exciting halves pairing in Jane Garraway and Ash Kara to lead the side around the park.

ACT will host a hungry Queensland outfit, who were frustrated by a clever NSW side in the inaugural Super W opener.

The Brumbies Women's side face Queensland at GIO Stadium on Saturday, kicking off at 5pm AEDT, broadcast LIVE on RUGBY.com.au and on delay on FOX SPORTS at 10pm AEDT.
