The Brumbies will kick off the Super Rugby finals, hosting the Highlanders in a knockout quarter-final next Friday night.
After their win over the Force, the Brumbies became the only Australian side in the finals finishing on top of the Australian conference.
The four conference winners will host quarter-finals against the four wildcard teams, three from the Australasian group and one from the African conferences.
The overall log had a shakeup on Sunday morning after the Jaguares beat an under strength Lions team, putting the Hurricanes on top of the New Zealand conference and the Super Rugby competition.
That rejig means that two New Zealand teams face a trip to South Africa in the first week of the finals, with the Crusaders playing the Lions in Johannesburg and the Chiefs taking on the Stormers in the final match of the weekend.
The highest-ranked winners quarter-final winners will host knock out semi-finals in a fortnight's time.
