Six Brumbies lead the charge in the round eight Team of the Week as they were the only Australian team to walk away victorious.
1. Scott Sio
A super consistent scrummager, Sio showed his quality once again against the Waratahs. Rarely makes a mistake and is one of the most reliable players in Australia.

Has a knack for scoring tries, and the Wallabies and Brumbies skipper crossed for his third of the season. An influential leader on and off the field, something that has shown even more in a trying time for the franchise.
3. Tom Robertson
Given the keys to the Waratahs scrum in a Super Rugby starting debut, the young prop didn’t disappoint against the Brumbies. Had a huge influence at scrum time and was busy around the park.
4. Luke Jones
Tireless work rate from the Rebels lock. Jones made a team-high 17 carries and was one of a few players to show some grunt when needed.
5. Sam Carter
Continued his solid Super Rugby season for the Brumbies. Took control at the lineout, winning five of the nine Brumbies’ throws.
6. Jordy Reid
Reid was a busy man at the breakdown on Friday night. Was spotted at the bottom of the ruck on many occasions, making 13 tackles and winning three turnovers.
7. Liam Gill
Not sure if flanker or flyhalf!? Gill did absolutely everything on the weekend including a 40 metre drop goal on the brink of halftime.
8. Adam Thomson
Partnered up nicely with Reid to wreak havoc at the breakdown, especially early on. The Rebs would have to have one of the most impressive backrow combinations in Super Rugby right now.
9. Nick Frisby
Starting to feel at home in the Reds no. 9 jersey. Frisby is enjoying a breakout season and his halves pairing with Jake McIntyre continues to blossom with every match.
10. Christian Lealiifano
He’s the Brumbies’ Mr Consistent. Lealiifano has taken his co-captaincy title in his stride in 2016 and his confidence with the boot looks to have returned this year too.
11. Joe Tomane
They call him Smokin’ Joe and on Saturday night we saw why. The hat-trick hero was impossible to stop as he slipped past numerous Tahs defenders to lead his side to its first victory at Allianz Stadium since 2002.
12. Kurtley Beale
Easily Beale’s best performance of 2016. Asserted himself in attack and added a calming influence for the Waratahs across the park.
13. Samu Kerevi
Starting to find his form of 2015 after two stellar performances for the Reds. Scored a double for the Reds and notched up over 100 run metes. Keep on knocking door, Samu!
14. Chris Feauai-Sautia
Had a slow start to the season but reminded us of his abilities in Pretoria with the opening try of the game in the fifth minute.
15. Aidan Toua
One of Toua’s best matches in the Brumbies jersey to date. Has thrived in a rare injury-free run, has a solid kicking game and played a part in two of the Brumbies’ four tries.
