1. Sef Fa’agase
The Reds forward pack dominated at scrum time, winning eight scrum penalties for the match. Fa'agase stepped up in the absence of injured prop Ben Daley.
2. Andrew Ready
The young hooker has shown he is more than capable of filling the void left by injured veteran Saia Fainga'a. Ready was part of the front row that demolished the Blues and was handy around the ground, making seven tackles.
3.Greg Holmes
Greg Holmes is pretty much Queensland’s most valuable player and the only player to feature in the Team of the Week three weeks straight,. The 33-year-old was an absolute workhouse for the Reds on Saturdat night and will once again be on Michael Cheika's radar come Wallabies season.
4. Luke Jones
Jones continued his strong season in the Rebels’ Japanese jaunt, making 22 run metres, six tackles and leading the set plays for the Rebels.
5. Sam Carter
Carter was his reliable self against the Stormers on a tough night for the Brumbies. Was busy in the forward pack making five tackles and was the key man at the lineout with Stephen Moore throwing to him 60 per cent of the time.
6. Hendrik Tui
After playing second fiddle to star recruits Karmihcale Hunt and Ayumu Groromaru in recent seasons, Japanese recruit Hendrik Tui is starting to emerge from under the radar. After playing in every pool match for Japan at the Rugby World Cup, Tui has become a force for the Reds in 2016.
7. Sean McMahon
McMahon just keeps taking challenges in his stride. The youngest 2015 World Cup squad member, the 21-year-old, has excelled captaining the Rebels. It was another super outing for him against the Sunwolves, leading the team with 109 run metres, 13 tackles and a try.
8.Jed Holloway
Came on to start the second half and delivered in spades. Holloway scored a hat-trick and put NSW within a whisker of a win and now holds the record for most tries in a match as a NSW substitute.
9. Nick Frisby
Frisby’s combination with Jake McIntyre continues to grow each week match, and on Saturday night Frisby was on fire. He had two try-assists and was busy all over the ground.
10. Peter Grant
It was a tough night at the office for the Force, but the Springboks veteran was cool, calm and collected in his first start for the club.
11. Tom English
The Rebels’ best back in Tokyo making 72 metres and scoring a try. Was a threat in attack everytime he touched the ball.
12. Matt Toomua
Toomua produced another consistent performance for the Brumbies in Cape Town. The 26-year-old is making the most of his last season in Canberra.
13. Samu Kerevi
Best match of 2016 for the Fijian flyer. Kerevi ran hard lines and put on huge hits at outside centre. When Kerevi fires, so do the Reds and it was no coincidence they both had their best games of the year against the Blues.
14. Dom Shipperley
When the second half opened up for the Rebels, Shipperley made the most of his opportunities. He was damaging in attack, playing his part in a couple of the Rebels’ tries.
15. Jonah Placid
Placid was the final piece to the Rebels’ brilliant back three. It wasn’t just attack where he excelled, he even won a pivotal turnover on the Sunwolves’ tryline.
