Sydney Olympic Park set to go live on Saturday

As anticipation builds towards the third, final and deciding Test of the DHL Australia 2013 Lions Tour Sydney Olympic Park is set to light up with an exciting Live site at Cathy Freeman Park.

From 10:00am on Saturday Sydney Olympic Park will host the ultimate pre-match experience.

Soak up the Gold and Red atmosphere from 10:00am with the Big Brewery BBQ where alliances are sure to be tested.

The BBQ will see an Australia v UK and Ireland music battle on the speakers and a BBQ v HP sauce war by the grills.

From 2:00pm Cathy Freeman Park will come to life with a 75 meter monster bar amongst a range of live music and entertainment as well as two beer gardens on the north and south side of the venue.

There will also be a more than 30 other bars, restaurants and cafes open around the Sydney Olympic Park village, all themed and open until late for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.

When dusk arrives it will bring about Sydney Olympic Park’s signature light show, however this time the Park will be adorned in Qantas Wallabies Gold.

Thanks to Fox Sports, a giant screen will show highlights from the Lions Tours gone by and come 8:00pm those without a ticket can settle in and watch all the action of the highly anticipated decider on the big screen.

All tickets to the clash between the Qantas Wallabies and British & Irish Lions at ANZ Stadium include entry and travel on CityRail trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus Services, regular Sydney Buses (STA), Liverpool to Parramatta T-way buses and Sydney Ferries services.
