The results from the first rugby.com.au poll are in, and fans believe it would be the French who would trouble the Qantas Wallabies on the 2012 Spring Tour.

The first poll launched on rugby.com.au last Wednesday 7 November asked voters which Spring Tour team, France, Italy, England or Wales, would trouble the Qantas Wallabies the most. After a week the results clearly showed fans felt it would be Les Bleus.

A total of 1,562 fans voted in the rugby.com.au first poll with half of voters selecting France, 27% choosing England, 20% Wales and 2% believing Italy would be the team most to trouble the Qantas Wallabies.

Prior to the opening Spring Tour Test match against France, England was thought to be the team most likely to trouble the Qantas Wallabies, with Wales second, France third and Italy last.

However following the Qantas Wallabies’ 33-6 loss against the French in the opening Spring Tour match at Stade de France in Paris over the weekend, France became the clear favourite.

With the Qantas Wallabies headed for a hostile Twickenham this weekend the question has to be asked, will the English cause the tourists as much trouble as Les Bleus or will the Australians bounce back and even their win-loss ledger?

Fans are able to continue having their say on rugby.com.au with this week’s question asking what the Qantas Wallabies win-loss ledger will be at the end of the Spring Tour.

The 2012 Spring Tour provides the Qantas Wallabies and fans with an insight into what to expect during the 2013 British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia. With the Qantas Wallabies facing two of the four sides that make up the iconic Lions team the games against England and Wales will deliver a preview of players that could be on our shores in June and July next year.

Fans can catch all the 2012 Spring Tour action LIVE on Fox Sports and Channel Ten, and they can cast their vote in a new poll each week on rugby.com.au.
