Sam Jeffries


Exciting lock Sam Jeffries continued his development at the Rebels in 2015, adding four Super Rugby appearances after making his debut in 2014 against the BullsJeffries signed for the Rebels' Extended Playing Squad in 2014, doing enough while on a trial to convince Tony McGahan to recruit him. The former Nudgee College and Sydney University young gun was a stand-out performer for Melbourne University in the 2015 Dewar Shield, playing alongside Rebels teammate Jonah Placid as the Students rose up the ladder and into premiership contention. His star shone brightly in the 2014 NRC, playing every match for the Melbourne Rising as they secured the minor premiership and scoring two tries in the process.
