McGregor first took to Rugby Sevens in the inaugural year of the Aon University Sevens Series where she represented Macquarie University. After several standout performances McGregor caught the eyes of selectors leading McGregor to be subsequently picked up in the Australian Women’s Squad.
McGregor’s speed and creativity were influential in the team's second place finish in Fiji and saw her later feature in the team's first Seven’s Series leg in Dubai, where Australia comfortably beat the USA in the Cup Final 34-0. In a whirlwind year, McGregor not only earned herself three SWS caps and a professional contract with the Aussie 7s at the conclusion of the World Series in 2018.
Now with 6 caps to her name, McGregor looks to gear up for the upcoming 2019-20 World Series and Olympic campaign.
