Born in Cairns, Mack Mason spent his early years growing up in Mitchell in the western downs district of Queensland. Flagged as a promising talent with plenty of potential, the 20-year-old flyhalf is a product of Brisbane’s rugby nursery, the Anglican Church Grammar School, commonly known as Churchie.
He joined the NSW Waratahs in 2017 as part of the supplementary squad, and made his debut against the Crusaders this year in front of the home crowd at Allianz Stadium in Round 6. Mack has a great opportunity to impress in the NRC this season.
Mack is a talented young Flyhalf with a no nonsense attitude to his Rugby. In the Super U20s Championship Mack was instrumental in Queensland’s backline dominance and with a handy boot, he can score your team points through the sticks when required.
