Lolo Fakaosilea

Lolo Fakaosilea has been touted as one of Australian rugby's brightest young stars since first appearing for the Queensland and Australian Schoolboys in 2012. Originally from Emerald in Queensland's Central Highlands, Fakaosilea began playing Rugby at age 13 for Marist College and was first spotted by talent scouts at the 2011 Queensland Junior Rugby Union State Championships playing for the Central Queensland Bushrangers. After flying down on a fortnightly basis to train as part of the Australian Rugby Union's Junior Gold Development Squad, Fakaosilea received a scholarship to attend school in Brisbane and from there, went on to represent both the Queensland and Australian Schoolboys in 2012 and 2013. As a teenager, the back-rower joined Central Highlands Junior Rugby Club and had to make a two-hour drive from Emerald to Rockhampton to play every weekend.
