Katrina’s devotion to rugby during her high school years led to her temporarily relocating from Perth to Dannevirke in New Zealand so she could play competitive secondary school rugby. Her prowess in the sport saw her selected in the Aussie 7s squad from 2012-2014, and a Wallaroos debut followed in 2016. After impressing off the bench in her first Test against New Zealand, she was elevated to the starting side for her second tilt against the Kiwi side. Fun fact: Katrina has a twin sister with blonde hair.
Barker was selected to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand.
