Biography
Hailing from Queensland, Josh Coward has been playing Rugby for as long as he can remember. Coward first signed a full-time contract with the Australian men's sevens program in July 2018 after impressing national Head Coach Andy Friend in a series of internal matches a month prior.
Since making his debut in the Hamilton leg of the 2018-19 World Series, Coward has seven tries under his belt in just five games.
Coward represented Australia at the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa and was a key player in Australia taking home a richly deserved silver medal.
He’s played representative rugby in Victoria before moving back to the Sunshine state to play for Sunnybank in early 2016.
