A strong, ball-carrying lock with the ability to play at blindside, 2016 could be Jed Holloway’s year with the 23-year-old offering great potential for the Waratahs. Captain of the Greater Sydney Rams for the inaugural NRC , Holloway set a brilliant example in the No. 8 jersey finishing among the top points scorers in the 2014 tournament with six tries to his name. Holloway also captained his Southern Districts side to the Shute Shield Grand Final in 2014, before backing up with a place in the Semi-Finals last year. He was offered his first professional contract with the Waratahs and made his Super Rugby debut against the Force in 2013.
