Biography

Souths stalwart James Turner is an experienced member of the Queensland Country line-up, having been involved since the inaugural campaign in 2014. Originally from Cairns, Turner has an impressive history of representative honours including playing stints spent overseas in Italy and Edinburgh.

He played for the Australian Sevens team in 2011 and the transferable skills he acquired during his time in Sevens has added a spark to his attacking capabilities in the Souths outfit. Turner spent time with the Brumbies in 2011 and 2012, and played for the Reds ‘A’ side in 2014.
