Hailing from Central West NSW’s town of Bathurst, Jakiya Whitfield’s speed has her swiftly making a name for herself in both formats of Rugby.
She started her Rugby career at Bathurst Bulldogs, before making the move to Sydney to play with Sydney Uni. Whitfield has picked up the nickname ‘Winx’ by her team names for her speedy run away tries.
In 2019, Whitfield represented Australia in the Pacific games where the Aussies took home a silver medal. She also had a stand out performance at the Aon Seven tournament playing for Sydney Uni.
Yet to make her World Series debut, Whitfield will be the one to watch in the future.
