Green is a product of Rugby Australia’s ‘Pathway to Gold’ program where talented athletes from other sports where asked to come and trial for then commencing Australian Women’s Sevens program.
Green catapulted into the international spotlight when scoring an astonishing 80-metre try against Canada during a three-match exhibition series at the Gold Coast Sevens in 2014. Within four hours the clip had gone global and Green had announced herself as one of Australian Rugby’s biggest names.
A popular and energetic member of the squad, Green has been there for all the Aussie 7s big moments, including winning the Gold Medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
