Moving to Queensland from Maronderra, Zimbabwe at an early age, Dom Du Toit first joined the Aussie Sevens program at the start of 2015 after a series of impressive performances at the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing. The lightning quick winger scored eight tries throughout the campaign - including a remarkable hat trick in the Cup final - to help Australia to a Gold medal.
The 2017/18 World Series Circuit saw Du Toit gain a cap in all of the five legs as well as notching up 75 points, as a result of these strong performances Dom gained selection in the Commonwealth Games side that claimed a silver medal on the Gold Coast at the end of the 2018 World Series.
