Colby Fainga'a

Colby Fainga'a has become an ever-present member of the club's squad during two years in Melbourne, missing just one match after moving from the Brumbies where he made 35 appearances. Fainga'a, the younger brother of Wallaby twins Saia and Anthony, won the club's highest individual honour in 2014 as he was awarded the Players' Player Award just ahead of Mitch Inman. Despite only turning 24 in 2015, Fainga'a has already made 65 Super Rugby appearances. Capable of playing in jerseys number six, seven or eight, Fainga'a is contracted in Melbourne until at least the end of 2018 after initially moving on a one-season deal. His leadership traits are well-known as he captained Australia's U20 side at the 2011 Junior World Championships and was the co-captain of the Melbourne Rising in 2015.
