Angus Cottrell

Angus Cottrell is an uncompromising backrower who has been a consistent performer for the Western Australian club since debuting in 2012. Playing 14 matches for the side in 2015, Cottrell stepped up brilliantly to fill the void left by the injured Matt Hodgson. His incredible work ethic all over the park in tandem with Hodgson and Ben McCalman has seen him emerge as one of the Force’s most reliable forwards and a true breakdown specialist. The 26-year-old was selected from Brisbane club, Wests, in 2011, before taking up an Extended Playing Squad contract with the Force and was elevated to the senior squad.
