Youngest of the bunch, Aaliyah Fasavalu-Fa'amausili, has definitely proven age is no barrier, snatching a spot in the NSW Women’s Team for 2018. The 17-year-old blind-side flanker grew up in Rosehill, Sydney where she started playing rugby league at 11. It did not take long at all for her talents to be recognised, being selected to play for the Canterbury Bulldogs in the under 18’s Tarsha Gale Cup. Her performances with West Harbour in the Jack Scott Cup and Sydney Rays in the Chikarovski Cup has definitely turned heads, particularly her work at the break down. The eldest of twelve has undoubtedly showed her siblings that hard work pays off.
