Head coach Tim Sampson has named an unchanged line-up for Saturday night’s massive Round 15 match-up with the Hurricanes at HBF Park.

A place in the Super Rugby Pacific finals is on the line following Tuesday’s bonus point win over Moana Pasifika in Auckland.

The Force go into the final round of the home and away season needing a victory and the Melbourne Rebels to beat the Highlanders on Sunday to secure a quarter final.

Starting at scrum-half, Ian Prior has been selected as run-on captain in his historic 100th appearance for the Force.

Prior, who captained the side for four seasons from 2018 to 2021, will enter the history books by joining Force legends Matt Hodgson (140) and Pekahou Cowan (137) as the only three players to join the exclusive milestone club.

Homegrown back rower Jackson Pugh, who scored the first try of his career against Pasifika, retains his starting place at number eight for the third consecutive week.
