Former Reds lock Izack Rodda is heading to Lyon, the French club confirmed on Wednesday night.
In a Wednesday press conference, Lyon president Yann Roubert announced Rodda as one of the club's new recruits.
The 23-year-old has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the French side, who were sitting second in the Top 14 before the season shutdown.
Rodda was one of three players, along with Isaac Lucas and Harry Hockings, released from his contract last month after refusing to agree to game-wide player pay cuts.

There was speculation that Rodda was keen to find a new Super Rugby home in Australia but that was put to bed officially with Lyon's announcement.
Rugby Australia interim CEO Rob Clarke said at the time of releasing Rodda that an Australian move was off the cards for the players in the immediate future.
Rodda wasn't the only Aussie confirmed as a new face for Lyon, with former Rebels and Brumbies flanker Colby Fainga'a also joining the side.
Hockings and Lucas's destinations are yet to be confirmed but it is expected that the pair will land in Japan.
The Top 14 season was officially abandoned earlier in June and it is hoped that it will resume in August.
