Super Rugby trials: Teams, teams and broadcast info for this weekend's preseason matches

It's not just Australia's Super Rugby teams playing trials this weekend.

The Kiwi sides are in action as well and there are plenty of interesting lineups.

Damian McKenzie is making his return for the Chiefs at fullback, playing against the Blues in the first match of the weekend while a host of rising stars will feature for the other sides.

FIXTURES

Friday January 17. All times AEDT

1pm - Chiefs vs Blues

3:45pm- Reds vs Rebels

6:45pm - Waratahs vs Highlanders

Saturday January 18

2pm - Crusaders vs Hurricanes

CHIEFS vs BLUES

The Chiefs and Blues kick off the 2020 preseason trials in Waihi on Friday afternoon. Damian McKenzie will play his first match since suffering an ACL injury and he will lineup at fullback under new coach Warren Gatland.

The Crusaders have named two  XVs to take on the Hurricanes in their Saturday trial match in Ashburton.
