Uni 7s Hub: All the teams and fixture times ahead of Round 2 at Bond University this weekend

The second round of the Uni 7s kicks off at Bond this weekend, with the University of Queensland the hunted side after their win in round one earlier this month.

UQ have dominated the competition since its inception, going unbeaten through the inaugural season in 2017 before finishing runners-up to Griffith Uni last year.

And while they won this season's opening carnival on home turf at St Lucia earlier this month, a new kid on the block showed they won't have things all their own way.

UTS, who was added to the competition this season along with UWA, made an impression straight away, beating defending series champions Griffith University in the semi-finals before fighting back in the final against UQ, eventually losing 21-17.

In a season reduced to four rounds, points will be at a premium over the weekend and with squads now without their Australian sevens representatives, who have left to prepare for the sevens world series opener in the US next week, there could be some changes to the in round one.

Watch all the action from both days at Bond LIVE on RUGBY.com.au.
