The Western Force have taken out their Asia Rugby showcase with a 40-16 win over the South China Tigers in Hong Kong.

Brad Lacey opened the scoring for the Force with a nine-point power try  before the Tigers hit back with penalties and a regulation try.

The Tigers' lead didn't last long, though, with Brynard Stander crossing for the Force's second of the night and the first of his two tries in the clash.

The Western Force took a 16-13 lead into the break and never really looked back after that.

Though the Tigers kept fighting, the Force's lead was ultimately unassailable for the hosts, who took the showcase easily.

The victory completed a perfect run of four victories in the Asia Rugby Showcase portion of Rapid Rugby, with the Force beating out the Asia Pacific Dragons at home and away and taking two wins over the Tigers as well.

Their only loss in recent weeks came against a Japan A side during a tour of the nation.

The Force return to Australia before the Pacific element of their Rapid Rugby Showcase kicks off on Saturday May 25 with a match against the Fijian Latui at Churchill Park in Fiji.
