Aussie Sevens player John Porch added to his highlights reel playing for Norths against Randwick, scoring a superb individual try off a restart.

Former Rebels and Brumbies hooker Robbie Abel featured for Gordon in a shock win over Sydney Uni at Chatswood Oval.

Waratahs lock Le Roux Roets featured in a thrilling Manly win over Souths at Manly Oval, while JP Sauni started for Western Sydney at hooker while John Folau played outside centre in a loss to Eastwood.

QUEENSLAND PREMIER GRADE

Reds lock Angus Blyth started for Bond Uni in a tight loss to Souths up against fellow red, centre Teti Tela.

Matt McGahan booted a conversion for Norths on a tough afternoon against GPS, with props JP and Ruan Smith coming off the bench for GPS.

Reds development player Carter Gordon nabbed a try for Wests, with fellow Reds Efi Maafu and Moses Sorovi starting and coming off the bench, respectively.

Flanker Adam Korczyk came off the bench for UQ in a win over Sunnybank, with Sevens youngster Liam McNamara crossing for Sunnybank in the clash.

JOHN I DENT CUP

Brumbies lock Blake Enever came off the bench for Easts against powerhouse side Wests.              

Vunipola Fifita scored a try playing for Vikings with Jordan Jackson-Hope playing at inside centre against Brumbies halfback Matt Lucas.

Lucas had two conversions for Queanbeyan in their 50-29 defeat.

DEWAR SHIELD

Rebels hooker Jordan Uelese sat out club rugby on the weekend, still yet to return from an ACL injury suffered in June last year.

Uelese's younger brother, Junior, who has been training with the Rebels started at loosehead for Melbourne Uni in a big win over Endeavour Hills.

Harrison Orr played at no. 8 for ARKS in a loss to UWA.

Much of the Force squad was in Singapore for the side's Asian tour, beating the Asia Pacific Dragons 7-3.
