A second-half shutout has helped the Force to a win over the Asia Pacific Dragons on Friday night.

Leading 14-10 at half-time, four unanswered second-half tries sealed the victory for the hosts.

It was the visitors who got off the mark first with a penalty goal putting them in the early lead.

The Force hit back through Johan Bardoul but the Dragons were over again after that to snatch back the advantage.

Teenage dynamo Carlo Tizzano added another to the Force's tally to keep the roller coaster going and it was after that the Force really started to break the game open.

Centre Henry Taefu opened the second half with a score and a try from Henry Stowers followed.

Felesi Kaituu pounced on a turnover in the dying stages of the second half to stretch the Force's lead further.

The Force weren't done with the scoreboard, though, taking one last try through Rod Davies.

Brad Lacey nabbed a turnover and booted the ball long into Davies' path for the speedster to gather and score.

The Force play their next match against the Dragons in Singapore on May 5.
