There were plenty of upsets in round six of Super Rugby, with the Chiefs taking their first win of the season in South Africa.

BLUES vs HIGHLANDERS
Winger Rieko Ioane scored two tries, bringing his tally to six from his past two games, as the Blues ended a 20-match losing streak against New Zealand opponents, beating the Highlanders 33-26 in Super Rugby.
Lock Patrick Tuipulotu barged over the line in the 74th minute and flyhalf Otere Black added a 78th minute penalty as the Blues came from behind in a match of seven lead changes to snatch their first win over a New Zealand conference rival since 2016.
Highlanders flyhalf Marty Banks kicked a penalty - his sixth goal from as many attempts - to put the Highlanders ahead 26-23 with 16 minutes left.
But the Blues finished more strongly and with more luck.

HURRICANES vs STORMERS
Winger Wes Goosen has scored two second-half tries and Beauden Barrett contributed 14 points as the Hurricanes rallied to beat the Stormers 34-28 in Super Rugby.
Saturday's match presented a stark contrast in styles between the Hurricanes, who lacked a reliable set piece and tried to play the game at pace, and the Stormers, who sought to slow play and control possession through their powerful forward pack.
The Hurricanes finally emerged on top, snatching the lead with a try to Barrett 10 minutes from fulltime and outscoring the Stormers by five tries to three.
The Stormers turned repeatedly to their rolling maul which brought them tries but deserted them in the final minutes of the match when they had territory and repeated opportunities to score.

WARATAHS vs CRUSADERS
The Waratahs turned to Air Izzy and a impressively strong defence to upset the Crusaders at the SCG, and bring the Kiwi champion’s record 19-game winning streak to an end.
On an emotional return to the field for the Crusaders after their game was cancelled last week, the NSW side led from start to finish in the 20-12 win; their first victory over the defending champions since 2015.
On a slippery night, the Waratahs strategically built a game around a strong and disciplined defensive effort, and a kicking game designed for the superstar in no.15 named Israel Folau.

SUNWOLVES vs LIONS
The Lions have heaped more misery on the Sunwolves with a comfortable 37-24 victory at Singapore's National Stadium, a day after it was announced the Japanese side would be cut from Super Rugby after the 2020 season.
Hooker Malcolm Marx scored a first-half brace as the Lions led 12-7 at the break on Saturday, while Nic Groom, Elton Jantjies, Lionel Mapoe and Hacjivah Dayimani all crossed in the second half for the Johannesburg-based side.
Rahboni Warren Vosayaco managed to muster two second-half scores for the Sunwolves to add to an early penalty try, but the performance brought little optimism for rugby in Japan as the nation prepares to showcase its development in the sport as hosts of the World Cup.

BULLS vs CHIEFS
The Waikato Chiefs ended their miserable start to the Super Rugby season with an emphatic 56-20 away victory over the Bulls as Damian McKenzie proved the inspiration and captain Brodie Retallick scored two tries.
McKenzie's line breaks and relentless probing of a sluggish home defence set up the New Zealand side for a first success of the season on Saturday, having lost their opening four games before drawing last week.
The Chiefs outscored the Bulls seven tries to two with giant lock Retallick, Solomon Alaimalo and Alex Nankivell each going over twice and Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi also scoring.
McKenzie kicked 21 points while the Bulls replied with tries from Jesse Kriel and Burger Odendaal and 10 points from the boot of five-eighth Handre Pollard.
The Chiefs kept up a high tempo despite the altitude and heat at Loftus Versfeld to showcase their fitness levels and belie their lowly status in the standings.

SHARKS vs REBELS
An undermanned Melbourne Rebels have fallen short in their quest for an elusive Super Rugby win in South Africa, going down to the Sharks in Durban 28-14.
Missing injured skipper Dane Haylett-Petty and three rested Wallabies, including in-form halfback Will Genia, the Rebels produced a roller-coaster performance.
They scored two excellent first-half tries through winger Tom English and fullback Jack Maddocks but failed to add to their score after halftime on the back of 21 handling errors to the Sharks' three.
