James Slipper won't have to wait long to return to the Suncorp Stadium cauldron with the prop named to start for the Brumbies against the Reds.
The former Reds captain will return to the iconic Queensland ground for the first time since being banished from Ballymore after two positive cocaine tests.
Slipper will combine with Les Makin and Folau Faingaa in the front row in Queensland with Rory Arnold and Sam Carter in the second row.
Pete Samu will start at six in place of injured youngster Rob Valetini, wiht Tom Cusack retaining the openside spot in place of David Pocock and Lachie McCaffrey lining up at no. 8.
Ex-Waikato flanker Jahrome Brown could make his Super Rugby debut off the bench, while Blake Enever comes into the 23.
Jordan Jackson-Hope and Matt Lucas have earned recalls to the match 23 after impressing in the Brumbies Runners win over the Emerging Waratahs last weekend.
