The Brumbies have made five changes to their Super W side ahead of this Friday's clash with the Rebels women.

Captain Shellie MIllward makes her return to the starting side, teaming up with Michaela Leonard, while loosehead prop Violeta Tupuola rounds out the forwards' changes.

Scrumhalf Remi Wilton and 10 Kiara Meredith-Brown are the new faces in the backline.

The Brumbies will be looking for their first win in the Super W when they travel to Melbourne, playing as the first half of an AAMI Park double header, before the Rebels-Hurricanes Super Rugby game.

Melbourne sits at the bottom of the Super W ladder, also winless, looking to claim a big scalp at home.

The Brumbies' women take on the Rebels at AAMI Park on Friday, kicking off at 5pm AEDT, to be broadcast on Friday night at 10pm AEDT on FOX SPORTS 505, with a replay available on RUGBY.com.au after the conclusion of that broadcast. Anyone with a ticket for the Super Rugby match can access the Super W match from 4:45pm through Gate 7.
