It was another quiet weekend for the Wallabies abroad, with competitions on hold for the November internationals.

Hulking lock Will Skelton played his third match for Saracens this season, scoring a try in their Anglo-Welsh Cup match against Sale.

That score wasn't enough to get them the win, Saracens going down by just seven points to the Sharks.

Former Queensland teammates James Hanson and Jake Schatz went head-to-head in Gloucester in the second week of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

It was a mixed afternoon for Hanson, whose Gloucester side enjoyed a 47-7 win over London Irish, with the hooker coming off the bench in the 58th minute, before being yellow carded with two minutes to go.

Schatz started at no. 8 for the Irish in the clash, playing the full 80.

Greg Holmes came off the bench for Exeter in their clash with Scarlets, enjoying a 40-0 win.

The Premiership resumes properly on Saturday, in round eight of the 2017-18 competition.
