The man who gave Sonny Bill Willliams his Wellington marching orders will take charge of the opening Bledisloe next month.

Frenchman Jerome Garces has been appointed as head referee for the August 19 clash at ANZ Stadium, with Wayne Barnes and Andrew Brace as assistants and England’s Rowan Kitt as the TMO.

Englishman Barnes will be the chief whistleblower for the other Bledisloes, in Dunedin and Brisbane.

Kiwis Glen Jackson and Ben O’Keeffe will take control of the Wallabies’ matches against South Africa in Perth and Bloemfontein, respectively.

England’s John Lacey will manage the Wallabies vs Pumas in Canberra while France’s Mathiew Raynal will referee the Wallabies vs Argentina in Mendoza.

Aussie referee Angus Gardner, who officiated matches in the recent Lions tour, has been appointed to the All Blacks vs Argentina clash in New Plymouth.

TMO George Ayoub, who played a part in the final tense minutes of the Lions-All Blacks series will be TMO two matches in the Rugby Championship - New Zealand’s home fixture with South Africa and the All Blacks-Argentina match.
