Six changes for Rebels ahead of Lions clash

Tony McGahan has made six changes to his starting XV for the Rebels' clash with the Lions.

Assistant coach Morgan Turinui forecast changes to the front row yesterday and McGahan has named a completely different trio that will pack down against the Lions.

Toby Smith gets his first start of the season, while James Hanson and Laurie Weeks have been named to start for the first time since round eight.

Dom Day will start in the second row ahead of Culum Rettalick, Ben Meehan will line up at halfback in the absence of Nic Stirzaker and Mick Snowden and Hugh Sinclair will get his first Super Rugby start ahead of Jake Schatz, who drops out of the 23.Ben Meehan will start at halfback on Saturday.
