Wallabies abroad: Beale takes centre stage in Dublin

Kurtley Beale will line up at fullback as Wasps vie to crack the Champions Cup semi-finals.

Wasps take on Irish powerhouse Leinster at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, in their sudden-death clash to kick off the Champions Cup quarter-finals.

Liam Gill will start at flanker for Toulon, while Drew Mitchell will be on the wing when Toulon plays for a spot in the final four.

Toulon’s is an all-French clash, with the southerners fighting it out with Clermont to qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Saracens host Glasgow and Munster hosts Toulouse in the other two quarter-finals.


Will Genia will start at scrumhalf as Stade Francais fight for a final four spot in the Challenge Cup competition, against Welsh side Ospreys.

Former Rebels Hugh Pyle and Paul Alo-Emile are also in the team, with Pyle starting in the second row, and Alo-Emile off the bench.

Ben Tapuai will come off the bench for Bath in their quarter-final against French side Brive.

Aussie Brock James steered La Rochelle to a quarter-final win over Edinburgh, botting three conversions and two penalties in the 32-22 victory.
