Former Springbok Peter Grant has been cleared to join the Western Force ahead of their clash against the Sunwolves on Saturday.

The Western Force become just the second Australian team to travel to Japan as they look to break their run of six-straight defeats.

Grant has overcome an eye injury he suffered against the Waratahs a fortnight ago and will travel as part of a 24-man squad that departs for Tokyo tomorrow.

Head coach Michael Foley has made no other changes to squad that went down to the Bulls 42-20 last Friday night.

The Force will take on the Sunvolves at 3:15pm AEST Saturday 7 May, LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
