Nick Cummins called up to Sevens side for Hong Kong

Nick Cummins has been called up to the Qantas Australian Men's Sevens squad by Head Coach Andy Friend for next week's Hong Kong Sevens.

The 28-year-old outside back replaces Henry Hutchison, who has failed to recover from a minor foot problem.

Cummins won the last of his eight World Series caps in May 2007 and last represented Australia in the abbreviated form of the game at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

New signing Frank Winterstein will also travel with the squad that heads to Hong Kong on Monday as the 13th player.

The 41st Hong Kong Sevens kicks off next Friday with Australia in Pool C alongside the USA, Argentina and Portugal with all of the action broadcast LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
