All the highlights from the Melbourne Rebels? 25-19 win over the Western Force? in Perth! AKA The Reece Hodge vs Jono Lance Show!

The Western Force have been dealt a massive blow with Chris Alcock being ruled out for up to 10 weeks with a posterior cruciate ligament injury, while Kyle Godwin will be monitored closely after injuring his knee.

Alcock came off the bench against the Rebels for Force skipper Matt Hodgson who needed stitches after a knock to the head but lasted just eight minutes.

It was a fairly quiet match for Force centre Godwin, playing 45 minutes of Rugby before limping off the ground and being replaced by former Springbok Peter Grant.

Godwin was seen to be icing his knee in the second half, and while the injury isn’t as serious as Alcock’s he will be monitored closely throughout the week.

Head Coach Michael Foley will be hoping Godwin will be cleared to play against the Reds on Saturday night.

The 23 year-old looms as a major weapon as the Force prepares to tackle massive Reds centres Samu Kerevi and Karmichael Hunt, who could be moved from fullback for injured Queenslander Henry Taefu.
