Players from the Qantas Australian Men's side have been giving their reaction to Monday's news that the Australian leg of the Sevens World Series will now be held in Sydney from the 2015-16 season.

LEWIS HOLLAND

I'm sure the Sydney crowds will be right behind us. Hopefully we can get a good build up to the event and get lots of support from the locals in New South Wales. It will be a good opportunity to play in front of friends and family in Sydney - I've only played once there before in a Sevens trial match against New Zealand before a Tahs game a few years back.

GREG JELOUDEV

I'm super excited by the news. It's obviously a pretty good venue and it will be a great chance for me to play in a stadium I have never played in before. I'm sure I'll get one or two ticket requests from my friends in Sydney and it should be a cracking weekend.

JESSE PARAHI

Obviously I'm pretty pumped that the Sevens will be coming to Sydney. I grew up in Sydney, my friends and family are in Sydney and it'll be great to play at Allianz Stadium. I've never played a competitive game their and we're hoping we can draw a strong crowd - something that perhaps was lacking in the Gold Coast over the past couple of years. The people of Sydney love their Rugby and we can't wait to play in front of them.

ED JENKINS

The action taking place on the pitch will be pretty exciting - but for tourists coming into Sydney, the Sevens is only going to be a small snippet of what the city is all about. We have the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and the beaches of Bondi! It's a spectacular city.

CAMERON CLARK

I'm sure you'll see one or two fancy dress outfits at the stadium and I think it'll go well. The Olympics is in the back of our minds but our focus at the moment is on that top four spot. You can only achieve that with consistent performances across the season.
