The Australian U20s side to face Wales in the Fifth Placed Play-Off has been named with the Aussie squad aiming to end their World Rugby U20 Championship on a winning note.
By finishing in fifth the Australian side will be guaranteeing the best possible seeding for the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championship, to be held in Manchester, England in 2016.
Australian U20s Head Coach Adrian Thompson:
“Wales presents a strong challenge for us, as they have strengths all over the park and they proved that with their win over Ireland.
“This match represents the best chance to get the best seeding position possible for the 2016 tournament and we have every intention of finishing on a winning note.
“For some of these players it will be their last opportunity to represent their country and that is responsibility we do not take on lightly.”
