What a surprise packet the Rebels have been in 2015, and a lot can be put down to the halves pairing of Jack Debreczeni and Nic Stirzaker.

The flame-headed halfback has been on fire so far this season, after a breakout NRC campaign with Melbourne Rising.

The 24-year old is leading the competition in scrum half runs (34) while he’s third in passes and possessions.

Three tries in 12 games has some calling for a Wallabies call-up for The Rugby Championship but he’s yet to feature in Michael Cheika’s morning-after meetings.

Will Genia, Nic White and Nick Phipps are all in front of Stirzaker in the pecking order but with just over 50 days to go before the first Test of the year, anything can happen.

See his three tries from 2015, including the super team effort against the Reds back in Round Eight.
