Branded at a tender age as a Qantas Wallabies star of the future, MATT TOOMUA has begun to realise his enormous potential in back-to-back seasons of Test Rugby.

The 25-year-old has already notched up 75 Super Rugby appearances for the Brumbies, where he has served equal time at inside centre and flyhalf, steering the side to the three straight finals appearances from 2013-2015.

Winning 10 Test caps in 2013 after making his debut against the All Blacks in Sydney, Toomua added a further 11 caps in the 2014 calendar year to take his career tally to 21 leading into a World Cup year.

Despite only playing six matches for the Brumbies in 2015, Toomua was instrumental in guiding the side to four wins once again proved his growing maturity and ever-improving combination with inside centre Christian Leali’ifano.
