ARU Schools CLASSROOM Learning experiences

Aligned to the Australian Curriculum with specific links to the HPE learning area – the Personal, social and community health and Movement and physical activity strands, it also promotes many of the general capabilities including ethical understanding, personal and social capability, intercultural understanding, literacy, numeracy and ICT capability.

The ARU schools program also supports Australia’s Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines by getting students as active as possible on the field and learning about the benefits of physical activity.

There are five Rugby themes explored throughout the Classroom resource including:

  1. Rugby Fair Play

  2. Rugby Health
