Making Rugby accessible to all Australians!
Rugby CONNECT aims to ensure that all people, regardless of disability, gender or ethnic background are given the opportunity to participate to their full potential by encouraging the inclusion of all participants - both on and off the field; from playing, coaching, officiating, administering and volunteering in Rugby.
Our goal is to make Rugby accessible to all Australians - with a focus on greater inclusion of all participants, including:
- People with disabilities
- Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations.
Rugby CONNECT provides a great opportunity for the Australian Rugby Community to get behind worthy initiatives that provide:
- Improved social and health benefits for people resulting from involvement in sport,
- Increased participation and memberships, and
- Greater community connectedness for sporting clubs.

Australian Rugby will continue to work with State/Territory Unions and Rugby clubs and schools to promote opportunities to maximise inclusive participation in all aspects of the game.
Rugby is a game for all, and Australian Rugby believes that everyone can play a role in our great game!
