The National Women's Championship is a national residential tournament for female players from state/territory and affiliate representative teams, conducted annually by the Australian Rugby Union.
The National Women's Championship is an important element of the Player Pathway at national, provincial, regional and affiliate level with the purpose to provide an effective platform for:
- the identification and development of each state/territories talented players, coaches, managers, referees and other officials;
- the recruitment and retention of players, coaches, referees, managers and other officials;
- the benchmarking of talented Women's players;
- assisting with the improvement of playing standards and development of the game in all participating states/territories and affiliates.
2011 National Women's Championship
In 2011 the Championship will move to the sunshine state, located in Brisbane, following on from Canberra in 2010.

2011 National Womens Championship Live Results and Ladders
West’s has a proud tradition in rugby with a senior a junior section. It has produced many Wallabies and four Wallaroos. The facilities include access to 2 fields, lighting, change rooms, grandstand, license club, parking (300), medical room, etc. Further West’s is reasonably accessible by public transport to/from Qld University, and also is in close proximity to a local services and accommodation in Toowong CBD which is a 10 min walk away.
Additionally teams are offered accomodation and meals at the University of Queensland (UQ), in King's College, Therapies Road, St Lucia QLD 4067. UQ campus map and King's College map.
