Imagine standing next to the tunnel as star kicker Christian Leali’ifano runs out to take on the British & Irish Lions. Better still he high fives you on the way through!

Or perhaps you’d rather play in the pre-game matches on the field that is going to be the Qantas Wallabies’ battle ground for the Bledisloe Cup?
Well, the Australian Rugby Union Rewards Program is your chance, but you have to be in it to win it!
This nationally coordinated program provides a range of opportunities for players, coaches, teachers, volunteers and the wider community to interact not only with the Qantas Wallabies, but also the Australian Sevens, Super Rugby and Australian Barbarian teams. It focuses on improving the quality of the Rugby experience and recognising and rewarding current participants within the Game.
Now in its sixth year, the Rewards Program had the added attraction of the British & Irish Lions Tour as well as upcoming Castrol Edge The Rugby Championship, which sees Australia up against New Zealand, South Africa & Argentina.
There are a range of opportunities to get involved both before and during match day.
  • Meet the Qantas Wallabies/Fan Day
  • Training Assistants/Interaction – participating in a Qantas Wallabies training session
  • Coach professional development session
  • EdRugby Values in Sport Forum
Match Day:
  • Junior Wallaby (also named for the non-test matches in honour of the home team)
  • Flag Bearers (Tests only)
  • Running on of the ball
  • Samsung Guard of Honour
  • Pre-Game Matches
So if you missed out on the British and Irish Lions Tour, it’s not too late to get involved with the Castrol Edge The Rugby Championship starting in August. Check out the wide range of opportunities here. Nominations close Friday 19 July, so get in quick!
