Australian Schoolboys beat Tongan Schools

The Australian Schoolboys have posted an overwhelming 70-13 victory over the visiting Tongan Schools in front of a crowd of 2,000 at St. Mary’s Leagues Stadium on Saturday.
The result wraps up the Australian Schools Rugby Union schedule for a month, before a new squad is selected mid-August to tour Fiji and New Zealand.
The Australian Schoolboys touring party will be named Tuesday 14th August and will travel to Fiji for two fixtures. They will meet the Fijian President’s XV in Nadi on 22nd September before facing the Fijian Schools in Lautoka on 25th September.
The squad will then travel to New Zealand where it will face the New Zealand Barbarians in Auckland on 29th September. They will then play Samoan Schools in Hamilton on 2nd October before returning to Auckland to take on the New Zealand Schools on 6th October to conclude the tour.
