Sutherland Shire Primary Schools look to end the Rugby year with a bang
24/10/2011
By Community Rugby
Primary schools in the Southern Districts area will contest the annual Yr. 5 and 6, 10 a Side Challenge Day.
The day will be hosted by the Southern Districts Rugby Club, Sylvania Waters with 12 sides competing over 2 divisions – approx. 170 participants on the day.
The schools have the chance to wrap their rugby season up with an enjoyable school challenge day, along with providing Southern District Junior Rugby the chance to identify potential players for the 2012 season.
With the successes and exposure of the recent World Cup in New Zealand, primary schools and players will have the chance to replicate their Wallaby heroes, who narrowly missed out on the chance to compete in the World Cup final eventually won by New Zealand.
