The Northern Territory Rugby Union (NTRU) is pleased to announce that the William Web Ellis Rugby World Cup Trophy, widely referred to as ‘Bill’, will be in Darwin this Thursday (18th August) & Friday (19th August).
Bill has been travelling around the country as the centrepiece of the ARU’s One Team Roadshow, promoting the upcoming Rugby World Cup commencing in New Zealand next month. As part of the Roadshow, the trophy has made recent stops in Perth, Adelaide, Tasmania, rural Victoria and Melbourne. ‘Bill’ will make a two-day stop in the Top End, after which it will complete its National tour with stops through-out Queensland and New South Wales.
